I’m Rachael, and Mailbox Zero started with my own mailbox.
I’ve moved a lot, and the house I live in now was a rental before I bought it. So along with my own junk, I get catalogs and credit offers for tenants who moved out years ago.
Most of what’s in my mailbox is junk, and someone else is getting my time and attention for free. I can unsubscribe from email. Why not paper?
So I built myself a system: a daily heads-up on whether my mail is worth the walk, and a running list of companies I’ve asked to stop, checked until they do. Mailbox Zero is that system, built for everyone.

What we’re building
The unsubscribe button paper mail never had. It starts with two things: a daily email that tells you whether today’s mail is worth the walk, and help stopping the junk you never asked for, company by company.
How we work
- Your yes comes first. We never stop mail from a company you already deal with unless you say so.
- We only see the outside. We work from the free USPS Informed Delivery preview you choose to forward, which shows the outside of envelopes. We never open your mail.
- We tell you what we can’t do. Some mail can’t be stopped by anyone, and opt-outs take weeks. We say so up front.
The pilot opens in January 2027. Join the list →
