L.L.Bean will stop or trim its catalogs, but only if you ask yourself. It says it no longer honors requests from third-party opt-out services.
Two ways to ask
- Online: log in at llbean.com, then Catalog Settings → Update Catalog Mailing Preferences.
- By letter: L.L.Bean Inc., Dept CFM, Freeport, ME 04033-0001. Include a catalog’s mailing label.
- Either way, also ask L.L.Bean to keep your name off its shared lists.
What to expect
- You can cut how often catalogs come, or which ones, instead of stopping them all.
- Catalogs are printed weeks ahead, so ask now. Anything already mailed will still arrive.
